about us

one show. one night. one crowd at a time.

Since 1921

Built by Braxton Beacham Sr., the theater opened in downtown Orlando as one of the city's original entertainment landmarks.

Over the decades, the building has worn many names and many identities — transitioning through eras as a concert venue, dinner theater, and nightclub.

Through it all, the venue survived downturns, reinventions, and even threats of demolition, protected in part by its local landmark status granted in 1987.

Today

The Beacham stands as downtown Orlando's largest and most storied entertainment destination. Over the last four decades, artists like Devo, The Police, Lauryn Hill, Soundgarden, Pink, and David Byrne have performed here, alongside dance music pioneers like Paul Oakenfold, Tiësto, and David Guetta.

Concert crowd: people in a venue, arms raised, looking up towards stage. Disco balls hang from ceiling.
